New Community Day Announcement - Turtwig
On August 7th, 2019, Niantic officially announced the date and Pokemon for September 2019 Community Day!
The Community Day event will take place on September 15, 2019, and will feature Turtwig, the Grass-type starter from Generation 4.
The date in the announcement is set for 11 AM to 2 PM in your local timezone.
The Community Day exclusive move is likely to be Frenzy Plant, a powerful Grass-type charged move that was featured in the Community Days for Venusaur, Meganium, and Sceptile.
The previous Community Day starter Pokemon Blaziken and Swampert also received a movepool addition with Blaze Kick and Muddy Water respectively, which are those Pokemon's signature moves.
The announcement also confirms that the 3x Catch Stardust bonus will be available for the event.
