Overview
Togetic is pretty weak, so the timer is the real enemy in this duo. It would have been very difficult had it arrived even a week earlier, but its weakness to Steel gives trainers a chance to take their new Meteor Mash Metagross out for a spin. It wins over a half minute faster than any other counter with only a handful of deaths to boot.
Approach
Team composition
-
Level 30 Metagross beats all other level 40 counters in neutral weather
-
Togetic has low attack, so each player only needs at most 4 Metagross
-
Dazzling Gleam can be hard for frail, non-Metagross weather counters
Dodging strategy
-
Don’t dodge, unless you lack enough Metagross to complete the battle
Note: "Good" movesets are not necessarily viable at the level indicated.
