Your Raid Pass is better spent on Togetic than Giratina

Anyone else agrees?

I prefer absol, for the hope of getting a shiny.

But yeh, Giratina is a dex filler.

I'll try a few challenges with Togetic now that we've all maxed a few MM Metagross out, but then that's it.

I'll raid Giratina for double candy and use it in its origin forme whenever it's released, if at all. Rewards are simply better with higher tier raids.

If i could even find a togetic, i can't find one.

Giratina is a pos because it cannot learn shadow ball while anyone with a brain knows it could in the main games. It is pretty clear that they didn't want you to spend rare candies in it. I might as well as ignore the dex entry if every future legendary is like this.

All future legendaries are pretty clear just storage space strains from this point on.

I will try to get as much candy as possible for both. Prioritising giratina, of course.

Niantic is just insulting legendaries at this point. It's sad that this is the mentality people have towards a pokemon like Giratina.

If they are anything they are just lowlifes tainting the Pokemon brand. If there is a catastrophic incident that somehow destroyed its reputation, it will come from here.

They deserve to taste the consequences of unleashing death and destruction onto us. Nintendo should be revoking their developer rights.

The only way to show displeasure at Niantic is to hit them where it hurts, in the pocket.

Imagine if no one bought raid passes for Giratina! But it won't happen.

From the APK mine, I think Niantic has Zero Intention of giving relevancy to legendaries in Gen 4. Examples are, Heatran has Fire Blast as its only Fire charge move, Palkia doesn't get a Water fast move, and Dialga only double-Dragon set, Dragon Breath and Draco Meteor, is terrible. And on the other side, look at the non-legendaries: all the new Gen 4 Electric type contenders got Wild Charge and all Gen 4 Ice type contenders got Avalanche. Exceptions are only Honchkrow and Staraptor, who got Brave Bird.

Togekiss, Lucario, Gallade, Infernape, Magmortar and Tangrowth aren't things?

They clearly didn't want you to invest in anything other than Machamp, Kyogre, Moltres, Tyranitar, Dragonite, Rayquaza, SB Mewtwo, SC Gengar. AND...Palkia cannot learn anything that looked like a water fast move in any form or way.

Togekiss, Lucario and Gallade couldn't compete as attackers without very powerful new moves anyway. Infernape is a different matter, it's a starter so it'll just have to wait for the CD to become good like most of them.

Disagree. Not every legendary can be better than all the ones before it.

Moltres with Overheat, Moltres with Sky Attack, Raikou with Wild Charge, Rayquaza with Outrage, those are the exceptions. The rule is the most powerful pokemon get the average moves, to keep things balanced. Mewtwo with Psychic is more powerful than any other psychic pokemon, despite the non-optimal charged move. Groudon with Earthquake is still useful, as is Kyogre with Hydro Pump. (Sure, they aren't Precipice Blades or Origin Pulse, but they do a lot of damage).

The alternative is that everyone gets lots of Shadow Claw/Shadow Ball Origin Forms Giratina, and then DT/Outrage on Palkia and Dialga, etc. Game would be too vanilla then, just one good move per type, and the best pokemon get it.

Absolutely, the problem is Togetic raids are likely much rarer and I can't trust that there will be a group if I just walk up to one without having a friend with me.
