Your 9 oldest pokemon

Just out of interest I want to see everyones oldest pokemon and what memories you have attached to them.
Bulbasaur- starter that I caught and chose at gfs after I installed new zealand version cause it was suggested from friend. I uninstalled it later cause my brother said it's shady.
Dragonair- caught at my house and it was my first exciting catch. I used it for my first gym battle when I didn't know how to use charge moves.
Lickitung- caught at my Park randomly and didn't know it was rare. I didn't catch another until valentines
Hitmonlee- my second 10k egg
Vaporean- my first 1k cp poke (powered it upup later)
Flareon- caught eevee at where it says
Graveller- I evolved an early geodude for no reason. Hes a decent prestiger
Electabuzz- I really wanted one with decent moves and I thought he was cool. I got it in my back garden and he's used as great Gary prestiger rn
Porygon- I gave 0 shits when this hatched but then found out it was rare later
Jolteon- used to be my vape killer
Magamar- caught when my Park was that nest. It was high cp for me at the time

Fun idea!

Butterfree evolved from a very early Caterpie.
Electabuzz caught at the height of the craze in July. 100 people downtown in my small town and I hear everyone shouting "Electabuzz, Electabuzz!" His IVs are terrible and he was never any good as an attacker even though he was my highest CP mon for a while. I'll keep him forever because of good memories!
The only Onix I've ever seen, hatched from my first 10k egg.
My second 10k egg was an Eevee. Evolved it into that Vaporeon and the rest is history.
Vileplume and Victreebel, my first 2 "Vaporeon killers, both with Solar Beam. Still use them to prestige.
And a couple random hatches.

I only remember the two very oldest. The Lvl 1 Chansey was the first egg I hatched and is now my walking buddy for more than 1,400 km, the Aerodactyl was the first mon I've put in a gym.

I kept my first starters for each. I also kept a Psyduck because it's one of my favorites. The Magikarp was one of the few I hatched and it turned out to be a decent IV one.

Now THAT's a really cool question! :)

Vaporeon 100% iv got during my first week was my first evolution ever, Hydropump!
(actually my 4th cp pkmn too)

Exeggutor was my first Exeggutor and still best grass attacker ZH SolB

Pinsir first big bug with high iv

first Wiggly and Clef used to fight gyms at the very beginning

first Venusaur, my favourite attacker, worked and fought very hard to get him. Caught as a Bulba in a city closer to my hometown, only with high iv for long.

Other guys very high IV pkmn 100%Fox and 98%Queen

From Oldest (that are worth mentioning):

Rhydon (was a rhyhorn)- caught on my 4th day of playing, and before I even used an IV checker. It turned out to be a 91 after I used a calculator, and I evolved it, came out as MS/Stone Edge. Then I looked at the moveset list, and thought, hmm, good IVs give good moves then. He sits at 3061 CP.

Pinsir- Fury Cutter/X Scissor was a hatch, and I thought these were rare lol. Today he sits at 1290 CP as an occasional prestiger.

Venusaur- Vine Whip-Solar Beam, IN THE WILD. This was on my 6th day of playing and before I even caught/evolved an ivysaur from bulbasaur (was my starter). Started as 999CP, it was my best, and despite the poor IV (46), I powered this up to 2006. God knows how many vaporeons it tore through.

Golem: Rock Throw/Ancient power. I don't know why I kept this, but this has 93 IV.

Tentacruel- Poison Jab, Hydro Pump (was Tentacool). This is a 96 IV, and one of my first 'near perfect IV, optimal moves' pokemon.

Farfetched- don't know why i kept this either lol

Pikachu- Who transfers their first pikachu?

Gyarados (was a magikarp)- was an unsuspecting fish ready to be transferred, but this thing is 100, so it is special I guess.

Nidoqueen- PJ/Earthquake - another one of those 'good moves, good IV' mons. Wish it had more use out of this meta though

Ahh, the memories here...
First ever Vaporeon with Hydro Pump, way back in July. A couple good catches when I traveled during last summer, like that Dragonite (NYC) it has DBreath/DClaw, the Lickitung from Washington DC (which was an amazing trip btw). A few others that have sentimental value, such as my first Gyarados and then my second all within a few weeks of other. Upset that I missed the DBreath Gyarados by 2 days, when they took it away. The rest are just fun evolves I did back when gyms weren't dominated by the 6/7 pokes you see today.

Most of these are just power prestigers with good movesets that have kept me going through the leveling process... Plus my very first C/SoB Eggy who has been with me since August and who sees play every day.

Oldest wild Pokemon is my Arcanine from 22-7-2016. Captured during vacation in Marseille, La France at midnight. Stepped out of the bus when boom, there he was.

Mine are comparatively lame:
1) 567 Pidgeot - kept because of location caught
2) 1392 Golduck - early gym defender, now prestiger
3) 915 Tangela - 1 of 3 ever caught, legacy moves
4) 761 Beedrill - 100%
5) 1143 Rapidash - 91%, still my best Rapidash
6) 913 Golbat - 82%, awaiting evolution
7) 558 Weepinbell - AA moveset according to GP (legacy)
8) 911 Butterfree - 93%, decent moveset
9) 635 Geodude - 91%, awaiting evolution

5 & 8 might get cut from the team one of these days.
6 & 9 might get cut depending on eventual movesets.

Curious, I just counted and found that I have exactly 200 mons with legacy movesets. One from before the small and long-ago change and 199 from before the big Gen2 change. Anyone else holding onto too many? I'm probably due for a purge.

-Charmander - my starter (was CP 12 pre-nerf)

-Vaporeon - my alpha-mon in the early days. still useful with WG/AT

-Aerodactyl - hatched from an egg acquired while on vacation in Montreal (I'm American)

-Hitmonchan - caught wild on the Montreal Subway while on vacation

Graveller - just my first Graveller, still useful as a double rock prestiger

Vileplume - one of my first two big grasses along with a Victreebell that has since been transferred.

Raichu - pretty sure it was my first Raichu

Exeggutor - my second Eggy, and my first really good one. With ZH/SoB, it remains one of my A-team attackers.

Butterfree - I rarely evolve Butterfrees, preferring to mass-evolve Metapods for the XP, so I've hung onto this one.

Dodrio - my first one, I guess. Doduos are quite rare for me.

The dates range from 7/14/16 for the starter Charmander to 9/1/16 for the Dodrio.

You made me nostalgic hehe, the oldest you can see is a 100% hatched Kabuto, gyarados was a hatched magicarp 88% and also my first gyarados, muk also hatched and walked to evolve, I guess the only two that weren't hatched are Exeggutor and snorlax, cloyster is 100% too!!

look at that! my oldest is the only wild Snorlax I ever caught, 5 days after the game started. I keep it to walk while using my only hatched Snorlax in gyms. Same thing for my 1 of 3 chanseys, hatched in august.
The kadabra is 15/15/14 IVs, I didn't evolve it earlier because I was too scared of getting bad MVs...

My starter charmander, the first 10 k egg I hatched was Lapras, the first 5k was Porygon. I had no idea that was anything special. I've still never encountered either of them in the wild…
The date range is from 7/21/16 for my starter, to 8/17/16 for my first Snorlax, also hatched.

Naturally, I was throwing stardust everywhere when I was a noob.

  • Charmander, my good old starter.
  • My first Slowpoke, it was exciting when I hatched it because Slowbro is one of my favorite mons.
  • Magmar, Primeape, Hitmonlee, Wigglytuff and the first Arcanine were all some of my first really exciting wild catches.
  • My first Magikarp I walked with for 200+ km.
  • My first impressive evolution, a FF+FB Arcanine I still use for prestiging.

Notables include:

My only ever Aerodactyl, hatched very early on. I was gutted to find out he was useless in battle :-(

Electabuzz, who I powered up quite a bit before I realised how much better Jolteon is. I just thought he was cool and fun to use, zapping away with Thunder Shock.

Kabutops, who I used loads in my noob days just because I found slashing away with fury cutter to be so much fun. I was gutted when I realised how useless he was overall, but he got the job done back then :-)

My first Charmeleon, who I evolved before I realised how rare stardust is. 96% IV's but way too low level to evolve and invest in, sadly, especially given the rarity of Charmander candies.

My Dragonite, still my go-to attacker. I've had terrible luck with Dragonite evolutions, getting either Steel Wing or Hyper Beam on ALL of them. So this DB/HB guy is my best. He rips through Vapes a treat so I powered him up to 30. One day I'll get that DT/O.

Fun question, thanks!
