Idk I barely managed to solo Machamp today and I used a pretty ideal lineup with best movesets - 3 Dragonite, 2 Exeggutor and Espeon and that was without dodging anything and also Machamp had Counter/Close Combat. I had tried to solo previously a Machamp with Heavy Slam and he KO'd all my 'mons. But this is just my experience so it might be possible. If you have another player with you then it should be a great counter to Machamp with fighting moves.

Xatu vs Machamp Boss
Would a maxed out air slash/future sight Xatu be effective in attacking a machamp boss? I have a couple that used to melt machamps I'd see in gyms.

That Xatu would be a fine choice if you are in a large group and if you don't have better choices.
It's definitely not good enough for a solo attempt unless you've got a bunch of zams and you just need something to finish him off with.
Basically, he's not as powerful but faster than slowbro, so he edges the bro by a nose.
I'm looking to try a double psychic jynx and a wg/p starmie to see how they perform as glass cannons.
I made a mistake in my calculation, an AS/FS Xatu with a 14 or 15 attack at level 30+ will have enough DPS to be in a machamp solo attempt lineup. However, just barely AND relies heavily on getting those super powerful FS off. You'll likely still need a few good espeon and/or a really good Zam. Even a Lv 30 high IV Espeon with ZH/PsyB has more DPS.
