Would you trade??

More idle musings.

Would you trade Higher Level 30+ Good Pokemon for lower level Perfects or Near Perfects.

Decent Perfects? Level 20 Perfect Donaphan
Bad Perfects? Level 20 Seaking
Great Near Perfects: Level 20 96+ Legendaries
Unevolved Great Perfects: Level 20 Abras, Dratinis, Machop, Lavitar
Unevolved Near Perfect: Level 20 Abras, Dratinis, Machop, Lavitar
Anti-Perfects: 1/1/1 Normals, or 10/10/10 Legendaries

Would you trade level 30+ Pokemon ranging from Golem, to Dragonite etc for level 20 collectors

Power or Collectability, what kind of player are you

I wouldn't trade my nonperfects if they've been powered up beyond 30, and I would trade nearly anything for perfect legendaries.

I wouldn't trade for unevolved nonperfects since the moveset is undetermined.

I would only trade other bad perfects for bad perfects, decent perfects (like Donphan) are interesting though, and I would trade for them. I would probably use it over a 5th Machamp in a TTar raid.

This is all because decent or good perfects I will consider maxing out someday since there is no better alternative in terms of that species.

I would trade a Snorlax for a 100% Pidgey.

I have a 100% Pidgey and Ratata that I have now evloved

100% Pidgey might become a pokemon worth investing if Niantic decide to add Pidgeot mega evolution into the game

I'm the type of 6'5, 350lb Maori dude who would send one of his young sons (with my account) over to the little kid crying at a raid to trade him his pidgey for whatever the kid failed to catch, even if it was a Mewtwo (not that I have one yet, but you get the point).

On the other hand, with regards to trading, I'm all about getting Legacy moves. If trading ever gets implemented, I already have a trade lined up with someone from this very site.

It remains to be seen what the market will set but I think that perfects will have good trade values as they are so rare, the low supply will be out paced by the demand even with so many player that say IVs don't matter. I have a bunch of high level (3500-4500 stardust to power) Rhydons that have modest IVs that I would happily trade for a perfect anything.

I'd keep my collectors stuff - perfect IV but useless Pokemon, but I would not trade my good Pokemon for someone else's perfect but useless Pokemon.

I'd trade my high level + good moveset Pokemon for a really good Shadow Claw Gengar though. I could always reacquire a DT/O Dragonite if I wanted to, assuming it doesn't become legacy as well, so I wouldn't be too bothered about trading one away in exchange for something that is rare.

I'm much more about battles and the meta than collection. I'm not bothered chasing after shinies - I just hope they never become meta.
My aim is to solo vape, arcanine and alakazam as I've done gengar and machamp but it's an eternal dust spend conflict between soloing t3 and having maxed out meta mon. So, yes I'd trade any 100% that wasn't relevant to the current meta.

I would trade my level 30, 67%, bite/stone edge Tyranitar for a decent amount of Larvitar candy. Maybe 50?
