Worth it or keep saving?

Hey guys so I have been trying to get a good espeon defender. I see confusion is his best quick move but is there a huge difference? Should I wait or power up?

If u gonna use it for defence, according to game press confusion psybeam is actually the best defensive moveset. So I suggest u wait till u get that moveset.

It is a good attacker.

It's never going to make a great defender, no matter the move. It's too fragile. I would use it as attacker, for that is worth to power up

you've not fought an espeon or alakazam before. they do HUGE damage on quick attacks and a quick charge move wrecks. not a huge deterrent as they are squishy but very little resists them when you are attacking so can cause more trouble than you'd think. complete pain in the arse when prestiging though.

yep they are squishy so time cost is not an issue but potion cost can be quiet high which can be an issue in resource poor areas.

Exactly, it deals more damage than a gyarados to me e.g.

I did fight several. I have myself a 96% IV espeon with the best defensive moveset maxed out to 2800 CP.
Yes, it deals huge damage, but it takes minimal. It faints in less than 10 seconds. Besides the low CP places it at the bottom of gyms. It simply doesn't last long enough
