Togekiss's projected level 40 max CP is 3171, so at least save your best Togepi or two. And if you can wait for the pokedex entry or want to evolve more than one after you get the Togetic pokedex entry, save your Togepi candy because like with Zubat and Horsea, the 50 candy evolution cost will probably drop to 25 when the third evolution becomes available.
