Will Pokemon Go make it through all 7 Generations?

It probably will make it, the question is how popular it will be. If enough players quit, or stop spending, the game won't be financially stable, and it will go on life support. But the active base is large enough that it should persist for a long time.

Guarantee it will make it. Why Did gen 2 come? because People stopped playing.

Even if it makes it to gen 7, by the time it reaches that one, there would probably be 14 generations out there.

I feel Pokémon Go will stop at 3 or 4, and Niantic will release a new game with new and improved dynamics starting with 4 or 5.

I'm assuming an Angry Birds-like model here.

Will smartphones exist by the time that could happen? Who knows? We could have implantable chips and real life genetically engineered pikachu
