Will Niantic ever get a grip on GPS spoofers?
So I drove around a bit last night to get on some gyms. My area is dominated by instinct spoofers and they pretty much hold 25+ gyms now. Over by my parents place a level 29 Valor spoofer had control of about 10 gyms I could see, all of which had a 2200+ CP Lapras. This has to be pretty discouraging for all the legit players and Im sure many are or will quit as a result of this rampant problem. I cant help but feel that more and more players are spoofing now and that this issue will get more and more severe.
Do you guys think Niantic will be able to correct this?

Right now they are focusing on getting their old player base back it seems, and the reoccurring war with the pokemaps(which seems to waste a lot of their time)
I read the the extra battery drain with the last update had to do with API security. I don't know what that means but I'm sick of my battery draining so fast.
I'm instinct and I don't cheat. Every team has cheaters unfortunately. I've worked up gyms just to get sniped by my own team too. Spoofing sucks and they need to do something. Honestly I think most players never attended playing gyms they just wanted to catch them all, then they realized they couldn't compete with there cheating friends in that area. They better strive to keep the people that kept playing first.
