Will a new wave of Gen 4 be released after Halloween event is over?

They COULD do an ice event in december. But who knows what they WILL do.

Since November is going to be bug-themed as far as research goes, odds are good that we could see the release of some Gen IV bug-types.

Hope is that Gen 4 bug types are released with the November research. Ice types in December seems likely as well, though the only two in Gen 4 that aren't cross gen are Snover and its evolution.

Only Niantic knows.

Well, Ninjask and Nincada are out, as well as Shedinja. That's a start. I'm sure they will want to catch some of the buzz for the Meltan crossover with the handheld games, so we might have a quiet spell in mid November when that comes out.

Other than that, seeing a lot of fairies, with Clefable and Wigglytuff in research rewards, Snubbull and Marill popping up a lot near my house.

Being less cheeky, I would certainly hope so. Thus far Gen IV has been drip-fed, so I'm really hoping for something more substantial soon.

As said, they could continue the bug theme in November with Yanmega, Combee, Skorupi and/or Burmy.
