Will evolutions like Rhyperior, Mamoswine, Yanmega or Tangrowth need evolution items? Or just 100 candy?

Will any of these evolutions be 200 or maybe 400 candy evolutions? Will we need to go to huge cities and spin everything in sight for hours on end?

I hope they just require Candies - preferably 100 Candies. But I'm guessing that they're going to have other things attached to them - new Evolution Items (maybe, if we're lucky, the current ones can be used), new restrictions (only evolve during X Weather? Walk X km? Have X Battle Victories? Have Move X?) or they might just do the dastardly 400 candy for Evolution.

I really hope they don't go for the 400 Candies for Evolving those Pokémon. It's already annoying enough to have to get 400 candies for a pair of Dex entries (Wailord and Altaria), but to have to pay 400 for Rhyperior, Mamoswine or Tangrowth? Bringing some up to 450 candies, when you only need 125 for a Tyranitar? Not sure that would sit well with too many people.

That would make Tyranitar more easily accessible, meaning that it won't be totally useless in the rock type category.

Please let it be just 100 candy without a special item

Well, Rhyperior, Electivire and Magmortoar need items in the main games, so I‘d assume they will need them in Go aswell (aswell as 100 candies). Mamoswine will need 100 candies as it is a second evolution, and Yanmega, Tangrowth and Lickylicky will need 50 candies (normally also requiere a move to evolve, but I doubt that‘s gonna happen in Go).

Evolution items have proven to be worthless thus far in the game so why assume that Niantic will try again to revive them. I still keep 8-10 of each current EI just in case. I would imagine that many trainers are holding several hundred rare candies so if Niantic made them > 100 candy evolutions it would not really limit their proliferation. Niantic can best make them difficult to obtain by having 20km (or more) walking / buddy requirements or similar rules.
