Wouhou ! Tonight, I started pokemon go and saw wild gyarados on the radar... Emotion, I jump on my shoes, toke my bike and... Paf !! There it is, right in front of me !!
43 CP.... Gave him a yellow berry hopping for candies.. Sad but true, 6 candies..

I thought its 6 candies, cuz it's a second evolution, not third, can't confirm, havent found a wild Gyarados since the berries were introduced

Exactly...its a 2nd evolution. Which is why it should be 10 candies.

It would be 20 if it was a 3rd evolution.

6 candy from Pinap berry is first/base evolution amount.

3 default...x2 = 6
