Wild blissey?

So I caught this big girl in an apartment complex with my brother luckily we got the best moveset overall P/DG but it will take me 120 candies to power up all the way to 30.5, 2726 but I take that as a challenge but that is beside the point I will be saving my candies and dust so I can power it up in one go but I was wondering if I should maybe start powering up when I can get them to a different lvl 25 at the least but I wanted to ask here(By the way this is not asking if just when so please dont tell me not to power it up ever because I dont really care)

Many on here will suggest waiting until you can max her out in one shot, but I think it depends on how much you need a defender and what level it would take to hold a spot in your local gym scene. I have one Blissey maxed, but my second one is only at the CP 1811 when she evolved. I had no more candy at the time. After 3 lucky Chansey hatches, I now have enough to max her out, but I can't because I stuck her in the bottom spot of a stable gym. Remarkably, she's held on for over a month without getting shaved, and earned me over 300 coins. I think if you can get her to a useful level, why not go ahead?

Yah I had never seen or heard about anyone catching a wild blissey so I almost peeed myself when I saw it on sightings

I'd definitely keep in mind time span also. Assuming it's 5k/candy, it might take a while to get her there. I'd personally wait until one go, especially since gym rework is rumored to be coming fairly soon and that may/may not make a difference. And as others here have mentioned, you might come across better, you never know. But if you don't care too much about that, then sure, no harm in powering up as you go

I would wait until I had enough candies to power her up to Level 30.

UncleJohnsHand may have had a 1800 Blissey in a gym for a month, but where I live it wouldn't last a day. Maybe if you stick in the last slot in a level 10, but even then it will only last a few days.

Any other level gym, and you prevent your teammates from leveling up the gym by sticking a low CP Blissey in there.

And most of all, you never know what will happen. Maybe you catch another wild Blissey that is better, or hatch a couple chanseys. Or maybe Niantic nerfs Blissey.

Yah that is why I have not invested anything into it yet because of the whole I might get something better in that time also she might nerfed but if not cp aside she still is the best defender.

You may choose to use it as an attacker or a prestiger...so perhaps feeding her as you get candy might be an idea.
If it is solely going to be a defender, then it is determined by your local gym scene.

Congrats!

Keep it as a prestige, throw it away, or keep it as a trophy.

You can hatch/catch a better Chansey, evolve it and power it up higher. This Blissey will take a huge investment of dust and candy for such a low IV and not a good moveset. Idealy you want ZH/DG or ZH/HB for defense.

This is my favorite moveset due to pound with stab barley worse than ZH and DG being super effective v D-nite and T-rex also doing SE damage to the pokemon that people most commonly use against blissey(fighting types)

And throw it away! How dare you let the devil come out of your keypad.

I would have used a pinap and transferred it right away. CP and IV way too low.

That is just sinfull(By the way I get like zero rare pokemon I have walked to get most of my dratini candies never seen a larvitar I have 1 gyra(Water event) no d-nites and no larvitars. I only have one other blissey because of the Valentine's event and a hatch.
