Why so many revives?

I throw out probably 10 revives per week. How could you use this many? Without more potions it doesn't make sense just to say go to more gyms.

10 a week, I throw out at least 10 a day!

I'd take them off your hands if I could, because I had fewer than 10 left a day or two ago. I've been so short on potions for a couple weeks now, I've been just reviving most of my fighters without healing them the rest of the way. Then of course when I battle with a team of pokemon who are already half dead at the start of the battle, they faint again that much quicker, burning through a lot of revives. I've been throwing out piles of pokeballs, just trying to make room for potions and revives.

Yeah, but that doesn't help much when I have no potions to heal them after that. At least revives get them half way.

Agreed. The revive/potion split is currently completely off. If you need revives you also need potions. Getting lots more revives than potions makes no sense.

Suggestion: Try using revives as potions! That is, deliberately let your pokemon faint and so you can use them instead of chucking them away. Then, when you pick up potions, you can fill them back up to full health.

I could use them. I have a team I only use revives on to take down gyms. I will use a few max/hyper potions the first round or 2, but after that I just use revives. My team is...

  1. Blissey p/dg
  2. Blissey zh/dg
  3. Vaporeon wg/at
  4. Vaporeon wg/hp
  5. Exeggutor es/SoB
  6. Muk pj/sw
  7. Rhydon ms/se
  8. Rhydon ms/eq
  9. Rhydon ms/eq
  10. Gyarados b/hp
  11. Gyarados b/ot

I use a combo of those guys and they take everything down except multiple Blissey. If there is more than 1 Blissey I will use a couple Machamps, but other than that, this team cleans house at half stamina.
