FuCk YeAh BoI!

Honestly, I'm sick of it too. I hate waking up and seeing 7+ raids before work that I don't have time for, only to come home and see maybe 3 before the evening curfew hits. I can't imagine having raids that early makes up a large enough part of raid traffic to warrant it, nor do I understand why there isn't an extra wave in the evening, extending the curfew to 8:30 or something. Different parts of the world gets this luxury, why not us?

Right? When raids first came out I would call my buddies at 6 am for T-Tars but that god old real quick lol

Yes it really sucks. 6:45pm for the last egg is ridiculous, especially when it stays light out past 9pm.

And I highly doubt more than 0.1% of players are hitting the raids that start before 6:30am... I wake up at 6:30am and see raids expiring in a few minutes some days...

It really is a problem. And 7pm EST is too early to ends raids as well, at least adjust the times when daylight savings switch.

Remember when they forgot to do this when the clocks went back an hour and for about a week raids were non-existent after 6PM? I sure do.

The thing that gets me about the curfew is that it IS later in different parts of the world. I've seen it firsthand, in Amsterdam I could still find a raid to do at 8PM. Here in the states? I'm lucky to find one at 6:45 without someone calling one out.

I suspect this has something to do with grouping regions on a single schedule for things like Community Days. We on the US east coast are constantly faced with raids starting before we get up and ending just when we're ready to do some serious playing. I suspect the schedule is great for the people on the US west coast, raids from about 9 AM to 9 PM (or maybe even 10 PM).

How much difficulty would it create for the people right on the borders of time zones if they had to go west after a certain hour for one more hour of raids? Not much, and it's a very small sample size.

Wish Niantic could fix this - it's an easy change. I don't mind raids ending earlier for winter, that's a safety issue. But having NY and SF on the same schedule, ignoring the time difference, is silly.

A 9pm raid end time would be awesome on so many levels. The working class would be able to raid everyday if they so desired.

For real it's crazy how they set the raids to. 6 AM WHOLE BUNCH OF RAIDS HAPPENING. Calms down between 730 - 9. ThEN ANOTHER BATCH OF A CRAP LOAD OF RAIDS.
So then i try to find a raid on my lunch break but between 11-1pm it's dead again and than after 1pm ANOTHER BATCH OF RAIDS OMG!!! then dead when i get off work...

That's pretty much my experience. Pretty shameful that Niantic has allowed this to become the standard

Since ive heard that the US has certain laws against parks being open so late, and Niantic makes it so NO raids spawn after 7, I guess they make it up to us by them being too early to raid? I think we should have a way to make a raid spawn ourselves. As long as it’s within a certain time frame, we should be able to choose a gym, and the mon we want to spawn. That way no waiting on a group, you would have them ready, and you could only do certain ones during each week.

*looks at Milwaukee's parks department and shakes fist angrily*

The problem with the "within a certain time frame" part of your statement is that they'd likely keep the eligible time to spawn a raid ourselves within the same window they drop their raids.

ITs stupid, but this is only in America, in other counties the raids start and end from 9 am to 9 pm, in the us its like 5am to 7 pm

I did a raid at 7am yesterday and another at 8pm last weekend.

Having until recently lived in Europe (UK), eggs go as follows: Raid eggs show up pre-7 (I think they start hatching at 6:30ish?) and the last one hatches about 8:40. Here, they begin at approximately the same time (only one gym within view, so smaller sample size), with a much earlier end.

Also, I've done a number of pre-8 AM raids - there's one floated in my UK location most days depending on work schedules. I think we had 6 for a 6:50 Absol raid the first week, and with new legendaries debuting at the very end of the raid day, the first half-dozen possible raids on the first weekend (7 AM or earlier) get numbers easily.

I'd say they should just go sunrise to sunset (they can do weather by location, doing that wouldn't be any harder!), but then raids would shut off around 4:15 in the winter where I'm located!

I don't mind early raids because I am usually on my way to work between 615 and 7am. My bigger issue is the lack of raids past 8. They need to figure out times of the year and usable sunlight. Got lucky last night with a tier 3 raid at 6pm but nothing else spawned amd that was from 530 on amd I have 4 local gyms and another 3 I can see on my map but are far from my house.

Not sure what daylight got to do with it really, if it's a safety issue for youngsters then I'm sure we as parents can police that one. My 'free' time is usually 9pm onwards & I'd quite happily go raiding late into the night. As for the early raids, why don't they keep em to tiers 1 to 3? I'm sure afew will be around to do these but tier 5? C'mon, it's hard enough getting a group together during the week in normal hours. Abit of common sense needs to be applied here, and stop giving out Mewtwo passes for 2.00pm on a work day, wtf is that all about??

It rotates throughout the days of the week - 2-3 weeks of passes per each day of the week. That's what it's about - theoretically, everyone will be accomodated across 4-5 months.
