Why rebalance raids

Why why why why why? Do they not like that people could solo tier 4 and 5 mons? I don't get it. I enjoyed my solo tier 3s and now I imagine it will go back to certain ones being really hard again. I am annoyed, unless I am wrong.

Because PoGo is a social Game. Up to T3 raids being soloable is fine. Once T4 raids can be done alone, it defeats the purpose of playing with other players.

Never should have been able to solo tier 4’s and duo tier 5’s .... it completely defeats the purpose of a SOCIAL game when you don’t need anyone to do what is supposed to be one of the more difficult parts of the game ... honestly that fact that Kyogre, Groudon, Giratina were so easy to beat with weather was kinda of a disappointment

Well depending on how much they got buffed you might still solo tier 2s with a little bit of challenge lol

I get it is a social game, however my schedule and area do not lead for me having close to me friends. I liked being able to solo the tier 3 options. I am worried I am going to lose most of that now. I guess I wait and see.

It's a game designed with the 'city' in mind.

The defensive and effectiveness rebalance made Tier 3 solos too easy.

I feel yes and no. I agree some of the easy were super easy, but it was nice being able to solo claydol without legendaries

Early this morning with three I beat a Palkia with Hydropump with 110 seconds remaining, tomorrow will it be tougher? Should I avoid DM like the plague...first day I beat DM with same three but much closer to the end timer.

I don't get why people seem perplexed at the fact that Pokemon Go as a concept was intended to be a social game.

Also, given the recent effectiveness change and the stat rebalance last year something like this was inevitable. Raids had become trivial to the point that T5's and only most T4's actually need more than one person. What's I'm curious about is *how* they'll be rebalanced. Will there be some meaningful change or will it just mean "bosses have more HP now"?

EDIT: Didn't see the post on the Pokemon Go Live site. It appears as if it is just a HP buff for the very reasons I figured it would be.
