Why isn't Dragonite with Dragon Breath / Any Charge Move Listed Tier One Attacker

If Exeggutor with Zen Headbutt / Solar Beam is listed as Tier one, and Snorlax has multiple movesets listed. Also Lapras with Frost Breath or Ice Shard / Ice Beam should be in Attack Tier one as well.

I also think that all the Dragonite's Dragon Breath movesets should be listed, because all of them out damage (DPS) all the other Pokemon in the game.

You should look at the Pokemon pages themselves for more detail, and an A-F grade for each moveset: https://pokemongo.gamepress.gg/pokemon/149

I have seen that. Point is that if they are listing Tier 1 attackers and they list other Pokemon with multiple movesets, they should list Dragonite with all DB movesets, because no other Pokemon in the game can out DPS them. NONE.

Also DPS drop from DB to SW movesets is so big that all SW sets should probably be listed as D.

I agree. This is also from personal experience from using dragonites. Somehow I think this website has a bias toward Dragonite with Dragon Claw. It has been pointed out by many and on reddit, but he/they refuse to change it even though they've added secondary aka "B" movesets for other tier one attackers.

I have read almost every page on this site many times. All good stuff and point on. It's just this that's been bothering me for some time now. I have over 2000 battles maybe even 5k done and Draw Claw is better, but not enough to be in a league of its own, especially considering you've also got multiple movesets for Vaporeon, Snorlax etc. listed.

Also did simulator battles and they are very very close.

Dragonite with DB and any secondary is listed as tier 1 for attack already. When it comes to defense though, steel wing provides superior DPS. The reason is that defending pokemon only attack once every two seconds. Which would you rather have, one 7.5 DB damage attack (6 damage for DB x 1.25 STAB) or one 15 damage SW attack, every two seconds?

It's not listed. Only Breath / Claw

I am not questioning Defense with SD vs. DB. Thought one could argue that Dragon Claw has a higher chance of landing hits because the dodge window appears faster than Pulse or HB.

That chart lists the pokemon's BEST moveset for attacking. If it lists more than one, it is because they are essentially equal.

OP is right.

DC is definitely not that much ahead to separate it from the others (if it is indeed ahead, long story...)

And since the've done it for other mons (Vap's HP and AT for example)...

Dragon Breath is by far the best option for attack, as it generates energy far faster than Steel Wing, and its STAB bonus makes it highly damaging, and its quick duration allows for relatively simple dodging if the user wants.
Dragon Claw is, by a narrow margin, the most damage efficient charge move, barely edging out Dragon Pulse. Its short duration also allows for more time and damage-efficient dodging.
Hyper Beam on attack does just fine, but the lack of STAB, mismatched type, and long duration leave it clearly suboptimal
