Why isn't dark included in the Offensive Pokemon list?

I understand that there are no dark pokemon, but the list goes by moves instead of pokemon type anyway. If any type should be left out, it should be normal as it doesn't do bonus damage vs anything.

Ghost is sort of the same as dark and like you said there's no dark Pokémon and no Pokemon Can learn both a dark quick move and a charge dark move

You're right, they didn't add the dark type until generation 2 (along with steel)... but they also didn't add the fairy type until this last generation. The only difference I seemed to notice is that they retroactively changed some of the older pokémon into fairy type (generation 1's clefairy and clefable).
Basically I'm just speculating that maybe they plan on "releasing" dark moves along with the gen 2's as an edge in an update when the hype starts to die down.

Arbok has both of the best dark type moves, but he kinda sucks with em

Exactly, Arbok is an example that has 2 dark moves, don't know why dark was excluded from the list. Aerodactyl is a flying/rock pokemon yet he is listed as the best for steel dps.
