GamePress

Why GamePress doesn't...

Why GamePress doesn't evaluate all the possible move set combinations? For example, i want to know how good it would be to have a Dragon Tail / Dragon Pulse Gyarados. There's no such combination in their move sets grading. Why GamePress doesn't put a mark for the legacy moves? They have it in the moves grades of the pokemon pages, but nowhere else. Wouldn't it be useful to have a * or a (L) next to the legacy moves when we're looking at Raid Boss Counters, or Attacking Lists? Why GamePress doesn't have a list/record/link to our questions/answers, so we can go back to them for references later? Why GamePress doesn't answer our questions/suggestions?
... and many other questions/suggestions that some of us (me included) may have already asked/suggested...

Thanks and thanks to GamePress for the great work anyway! :)

Point 3.: Go to your profile to watch back old questions/answers

Point 4.: They read the forum so they'll take notice of feedback they get. I understand that it can be time consuming to answer all and everything. That shouldn't be their priority.

Point 3: Nice, i didn't know about the questions/answers feature! Should be somehow new!?

Point 4: Well, yes, of course.

Thanks!

It is indeed brand-new. Only a couple of days old. No problem!

  1. They do for some mons (Machamp and Dragonite in particular). It would be a lot of work to do every single combo on every mon so I think they started with the most useful and haven't done Gyrados yet.
  2. They do mark legacy moves with a asterisk.

  1. They do it sometimes for every combo, even for some other less useful pokemons.
  2. No they don't. They do mark legacy moves with asterisk ONLY in the moves grades of the own pokemon page. But my suggestion was for the other pages, for example, when you're checking for Tyranitar's counters, you will see Machamp with the useful moves without any asterisk. Wouldn't it be useful to have some * there too?

DT/HP is one above DB/HP for attack, and DB/DP has B for attack, so looks like DT/DP should have A or B for attack. I think extrapolating like this makes sense, not sure what all goes into the ratings.

DT/C is the first B, there's no DB/C, DB/DP is second B. Maybe DT/DP goes between where DB/C would be and where DB/DP is. So, DT/DP would be B for attack.

Their analysis usually goes even beyond that. For example, they also take into consideration Energy gain, bar sizes...
