Why dodging bug is still there ?

I just got hit with it an hour ago. I dodged EQ, damage showed....then immediately rolled back to correctly dodged rates. This is instant death for glass cannons though. Until it's fixed they are basically useless.

Of course they thought to fix it.

Clearly it is a much deeper problem than we understand and they are revamping the gym system very soon, so what is the point of dumping tons of time into fixing a bug for a system that is about to be thrown out?

Its not difficult to fix. Just assume there is a succesful dodge, and then if not add full damage instead of other way around.

How the dodge bug seems more annoying for now:
Dodged, and the server records the dodge successfully, then it reverts the dodge while making the Pokémon faint if possible, after a while, it reverts the "reverted dodge", which may trap you in a loop.
However, at least it is smoother to switch Pokémon for now.

Feel like, Niantic : why bother fix it? we busy with Gym rework and yeah after new major update u will forget the old gym system...erm...
