Why buy eggs when

Twitter feeds can lead you to all the amazing Pokémon ? You grind to 125 candies for tyranitar & dragonite when I just go up the street & catch both of them with high CP & their best moveset

I'm confused here. What do buying eggs have to do with the pokemon when the eggs purchased are for Trainer EXP.

The CP of a pokemon spawn is not the same for all players.

Also care to share this wonderful information you have? I would love to "go up the street" and catch a tyranitar and dragonite with high CP and best movesets :)

Mr RipN has posted earlier that he is in SoCal and that every city has websites with trackers and twitter feeds. Much driving to get great mons.... etc.
Whatever works for him and others is not my business.
I play to walk more, I needed the motivation to get out.

I know of plenty of twitter feeds and don't use any of them honestly...

Wasting gas seems like a loss to me. I have no problem running or even driving to a very close stop that the nearby tracker shows, but driving all over town or the next few towns over is too much work IMO and wastes too much gas/money/time.

Almost like saying why play the game when you can just imagine and pretend youre playing it?

In other words...there's kinda no sense behind this question/view on the game.

Why do anything?
We play because we want to (some for fun, to be the best, to be a completionist etc)

and hatching eggs is a fundamental part of the game...and an exciting possibility for many as its essentially where 90% of all their usable pokemon come from, and only source of possible rares

Oh...and exercise.
