Why are there Fairy Pokemon on this site that aren't in the game yet?

When viewing Pokemon, I clicked the Fairy category, and I see Granbull, and other Fairy types that are not in GO yet, and I was wondering why that is?

Those are 2nd generation Pokémon probably available in the game some time in the future, so I suppose Gamepress thought that adding those for future would be a good idea. I wouldn't count on them being added quite just yet though.

I realize they are from gen 2. Pretty sure that's apparent from the fact I knew they aren't in the game yet. I am wondering why this type is the only type that has gen 2 Pokemon on this site though.
