Why are all my wild rares so low

This is why I dont get excited about rare any more becuase I have also got about 3 Raticates, 1 Pidgeot, 2 Granbulls, 1 Houndoom, many many more rarish pokemon around this damn cp. Granted I transfered all of those a while back. But I still love these pokemon. Just if I ever find a wild Tyranitar and click on him and see 300 cp I might throw my phone. Anyone else have these problems.

I quite like lower CP rares. It makes pinap-ing them easier. If only we had a dusty berry for the ones I don't want the candy of. :)Still grateful here.

But they're perfect to catch with Pinap.

I've had similar issues with low CP rares. It was a big problem for me before we had Pinap Berries. Now that we have them, a low CP rare when using a Pinap is extra candy. With the higher CP rares, I'm glad that its potentially useful, but nervous that it might run. The most nervous I've been was when I ran into a wild Tyranitar with 1948 CP. Too high to Pinap & I didn't know how often wild Tyranitars dodged or jumped since it was my first and only one I've seen in the wild. Overall, its good that you are at least seeing rares in the wild. Seeing some of the struggles or how few rares high level players encounter, you could definitely be much worse off.

True. But the Snorlax and Blissey both weren't pinaped. The Snorlax I caught in july and the blissey was dark red. The lapras I got those sweet sweet 3 candies extra.

I saw my first Snorlax since before gen 2 about a week ago, and it had 1639 CP. It broke out and ran away after one throw. At least the ones with Low CP are easy to catch.

same here, I've been lucky enough for two lapras to show up on nearby so far during this event and one Charizard. Each with very very low CP, oh and bad movesets. But I'll take the candy. Used pinap berries.

I'm level 36 and have rarely seen rares in the wild, so it doesn't surprise me that with such a small sample it is rare for any of them to have a high CP. The one exception I recall (and it was a great one) was a wild level 30 Lapras with Frost Breath/Ice Beam and 100% IVs (I no longer recall the CP, but it was obviously not low) which I keep maxed out. So in answer to your question: no, I do not have these problems.
