Who are you excited to use?

Due to his base stats it would be nice to get steelix in there. Won't he still be super vulnerable to the Vapes still though?

I'm having a tough time wrapping my head around many other pokes being much better defenders than what's currently in there. Even if CP requirements change.

trust what u think is right... before ryhdon kick 3kcp i already search him alot... now he 1 of the top defender... who know, next CP rebalance some pokemon we love going to kick 3k...i have alot unwanted pokemon,i will keep the unwanted pokemon, tommorow most wanted pokemon... and steelix ah, Mega steelix maybe kick 3-4k cp

Scizor, Venusaur, Slowbro, Poliwrath, Skarmory, Mantine, Steelix, Clefable, Porygon 2 and good ol' Wiggly. Yeah, there are so many great mons out there, which I would love to put in gyms, so I would really be hyped as fuck, if Cp wouldnt be the most influenting factor anymore, when one has to select a defender.

Lapras needs to be back in gyms!

Come on hitmonlee. I've got several now at 98% IV and really fun to fight with. Maybe PvP? I can't conceive it will ever make a good gym defender unless the AI can move at supersonic low kick speed and dodge every one of your d@ zen head butts. ..

Lapras and Steelix

Venusaur, Poliwrath, Slowbro, Lapras. Omastar, Vileplume, Muk, Wiggly, and Clefable. (ie: all the mons I fed candy and dust to before they got CP nerfs)

Shuckle, Steelix, Skarmory, Cloyster, Forretress, Mr. Mime, and Umbreon.
