Which Poliwrath to power up to level 30?
I have two Poliwrath with the same movesets: Bubble/Dynamic Punch. They have the same IV's with different distributions. Which Poliwrath should I level up to level 30? I would like to use him mainly as an attacker.
11A/15D/13HP, 86.7% IV, 1360 CP level 20 (hatched)
@ level 30 he'll have 2040 CP, 141 HP
or
15A/15D/9HP, 86.7% IV, 1373 CP level 20 (caught)
@ level 30 he'll have 2060 CP, 138 HP

Unfortunately poliwrath isnt a high tier attacker..with that said who cares!! Power that mother up. That move set is like a poor mans machamp. I have the same moveset and it does pretty good against snorlax but struggles with high CP blissys. Maybe if he was lvl 30 that would make a difference. Good luck!
First off don’t listen to people telling you not to power up a mon that YOU like. Secondly, I personally would go with the second one. Looking at his base stats, Poliwrath is extremely level in his base stat distribution (ATK=182 DEF=187 STA=180). So for the first one your stats are (193/202/200) and the second is (197/202/196). So ultimately this is a difference of 4 more attack or 4 more stamina and if you are going for an attacker I would go with attack. I think the difference is negligible in terms of time in battle though.
