Which non-legendary Pokemon are worth powering up?

Question in the title.

For me it's Dragonite, Tyranitar, Machamp, Golem, Rhydon, Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Espeon, Alakazam, Exeggutor.
That's about it.

Feel free to comment if you think any of the Pokemon I listed is/are not worth powering up.

Is the order sorted by the value? I think Machamp is No.1. Then it's Dragonite/Tyranitar.
Also, why Flareon and Jolteon since we have better versions of both>?
Also Also, you can divide them into Gym Utility Group and Raid Utility Group.

The first few are sorted by utility, up to Rhydon. After that, everything is equal.
Also, thanks for the suggestion for the gym and raid utility groups.

3. Rhydon <-- earthquake
4. Exeggutor
5. Alakazam
6. Espeon

I already have 3 Jolteons powered up to L32 long ago, all with TS and different charge moves. I'll keep them as they are. I caught a 98% IV Zapdos yesterday, I'll probably be maxing that one out as an electric attacker, also because he is my team's bird.

As for Flareon, I didn't catch any Moltres last week, and Moltres isn't much better than Flareon (hardly any difference on Pokebattler), so I'll continue using my L30 FS/OH Flareon.

Gym utility:
Gyms are so easy now you can literally beat a Vaporeon with a Flareon. I've done it before in the new gym system, same CP, of course dodging all. High CP Blisseys still hurt though, especially ZH/DG.
Gym attackers:
Dragonite
Tyranitar (Bite)
Machamp (2x fighting)
Snorlax (Lick)
Eeveelutions
Personally I use Flareon a lot because I like Eeveelutions and fire types, and he is potion efficient, but he isn't really necessary to beat gyms.

Raid utility:
Raids mainly require DPS, not survival. It's been recently discovered that you can get around the damage reser by leaving and reselecting before all 6 of your Pokemon faint, so tanks ain't necessary now.

Dark:
Tyranitar
Houndoom
Gyarados*

Fighting:
Machamp
Heracross
Poliwrath
Ursaring*

Rock:
Golem
Omastar (legacy)
Tyranitar
Rhydon (if raid boss is not flying)

Psychic:
Alakazam
Espeon
Exeggutor
Lugia

Ground:
Rhydon
Golem
Donphan

Grass:
Exeggutor
Venusaur
Victreebel
Vileplume

Water:
Vaporeon
Gyarados
Omastar
Feraligatr

Fire:
Moltres
Flareon

Electric:
Zapdos
Jolteon

Flying:
Dragonite (Hurricane)
Lugia

Bug:
Pinsir
Scizor

Ghost:
Gengar

Ice:
Cloyster
Articuno
Lapras

Dragon:
Dragonite

Pokemon with * do not have STAB for that type, but can get 2 moves of that type.

For some reason I think a lot of people who frequent this site would agree... https://pokemongo.gamepress.gg/attackers-tier-list

Dragonite slayer, no ice types?? Neither in OP nor in your otherwise excellent list. My best is a 93% powered up Lapras from the old gym days, have a few more since raids but lower IV and level, and have a strong ice team of former prestigers so am ready for dragonite boss

For me, whatever is good in future legendary raids. Ttars for Mewtwo, Golem for dogs and birds, Exegguttor for Suicune and the (eventual) Groudon Kyogre from gen 3 if we ever get them.

Or 6 Blisseys and put them in a raid, hope people take down the boss for you while they stare at your 6 blobs doing nothing. Don't do that.

Blissey. If you value gold badges.

I have all of the above, except flareon. I would only invest in more tyranitar.
