Which Mons to save?

I was starting to clean out my inventory (kind of a hoarder...) but then I wondered if some of these lower level pokemon (sub 5.0 on gp) need to be saved for evolutions in future generations?

Other than the really powerful mons, what do I need to hold on to? Any help is much appreciated.
