Which Growlithe to Evolve?

Today I've got a lvl 30 Growlithe with 28,9% IV, and a hatched one with 88,9%, he's not very common where I live but I've managed to get 54 candies, what should I do?? I've evolved a 95% but got crap moves so I let him free, and usually worst IV gives you excellent moves and another thing is that I wouldn't have to invest much candies on it, I'm level 33, thanks in advance!!

  1. Just evolve the one with highest IV, it's gonna be level 20, perfectly usable for attacking as it is if it gets a good moveset.
  2. I'd advise you not to transfer pokemon with good IV's (90+) unless you really really need the space, they might be useful down the line (gym rework, breeding, etc)

Thanks for your opinion! the thing with the 95% one is that He got the worst moveset (Bite-Bulldoze), I have another Arcanine (88%) with Fire Fang - Flamethrower so that doesn´t make me miss the 95%, and also I have a lvl 34 Charizard who also do the job, but I don´t want another bad Arcanine because he atacks better than Charizard...

I've gotten my fair share of those, I'm still trying to get one with FF/FB, the only 2 I've got have IV's under 82% (evolved before I got strict about it).

It sucks to get a bad moveset, but I still hold onto the hope that one day we get TM/HM and breeding, if breeding for IV's is a thing, those high IV/bad moveset pokemon might come in handy.

At least you don't have to fear 'Bulldoze' ever again, since they made it a legacy move.

Since you already have the best one, ff/ft, I would go with lvl 20 one that you can lvl up if gets ff/fb (I guess this is what you want).
If ff/ft is not powered, I would just do the power up.
P.s. Is just an impresion that high lvl low iv get better moves :); I have a lot of lvl 28-30 medium IV discharge Jolts that at the time of evolution were crap (not now, they are great at the moment).
