Which to evolve into Electivire?

I'm usually not an advocate of "15 attack or transfer" but for the case of Electivire it might actually be worth the wait for one, due to it's relative performance vs Raikou.

Only 8 attack seperates Raikou and Electivire. If you pick a 14 attack Electivire the diffence narrows down to 7. If this 7 attack does not push you to the next TS breakpoint, you'll be dealing essentially the same DPS as Raikou while taking a considerable TDO hit.

Granted what I said is exaggerated but I hope you get my point- it's important to capitalize any small advantage.

That being said I would evolve whatever is less costly between the 14/15/14 L15 electabuzz and L20 elekid in terms of candy. The elekid can be used if you want both thunder punch and wild charge....but i don't think it's worth it

Not sure about the L30 Raikou question as I don't have a L30 Raikou

L40 Electivire has 23,3k tankiness, L30 Raikou has 29,5k, Raikou in this instance has 27% more tankiness. The TDO difference is heavily matchup specific, as Electivire's DPS advantage largely depends on hitting a breakpoint that Raikou doesn't.

If you want to invest 10k dust into making sure you use the least possible number of CTMs, evolve an Elekid and buy the second charge move before evolving. I would personally go that route and pick the 14/15/14 Elekid, but I have much more spare dust than I have spare CTMs.

Then again, I see little reason to have an Electivire right now, so unless you really want the dex entry, I'd advocate waiting.

All looks pretty great. I'd power anyone of them up before a raikou, given the limited preformance of electric and the differing in cost being so great for small differences in preformance of the two pokmon, I personally couldnt be able to justify the RC cost if you only raikou are level 15 research like mine are.

Personally i'd go with the level 20 electabuzz, as the IV difference gives little to no preformance difference, and you'll save yourself more dust and candy if you have a need for one right now. Otherwise, i'd recommend holding off on evolving one we dont know what raid boss is next, and i'd recommend waiting to see what it is before spending a sinnoh stone and stardust.
