Which Dratini to evolve?

I have hatched and caught a lot of Dratini. Got 7 powered up Dragonites all evolved by myself and wasn't it for a lucky 98% Dragonair catch, the highest IV one I hatched was at 91%. The “weakest“ has 84% IV, so 89 or 87 is just about right. Good luck getting DT.

We know the niantic. Right after you evolve your Dratini you got the perfect one! I evolve and power up my 88 IV Chansey right after i got the 96 IV one.

Your 88.9% one is litterally identical to mine, my last Dragonite evo, it was my 2nd one.

Luckily it got Dragon Tail and Outrage.

Its now my strongest Pokemon sitting at almost 3200CP

Either way they are both very similar...its the moves it rolls that will be important.

I was at first hesitant as i wasn't sure If the attack IV was too low, but attack is Dragonites strongest base stat anyway...its the other stats that could use additional points, so perhaps 15/14 in Def/Stam is actually close to ideal. Sure it would be good to maximise its attack too...but in a game or pure RNG we cant always be that fussy.

As it does technically have the higher IV percentage overall, i think your 89% one will be a good choice. But either way they are so close....the difference wont be noticeable in reality. But I think the strong defence and Hp will really benefit in battles, just as much if not more, than trading that power for more attack stat

Choose either, the lower IV tend to get better moves ;)

Just kidding, it's RNG of course, but they're very similar.

Actually, you already have 2 "good IV" Dratini....86 and 89 are definitely "good"
