Totaly worth it.

I had a dratini 97% with 10 CP and a dragonair 100% with 800CP, evolved both.

You will only have a prejudice in candys, but my dratini with 10 cp cost just ~50k stardust and ~60 candys to put him with 2300 cp (plus the 125 to evolve him to dragonite) but totaly worth it.

So invest in the 100% iv one

My own opinion, you should transfer all of them then go catch a 100% Rattata to involve him/her (tell me as well if you know the gender) and hopefully he has Hyper Beam. Thumb up for your question.

Although I like this answer too, the question is not really a stupid question. The info this site gives is not enough for a player to make decision like this. People do not know what they are giving up when they choose a 10% lower IV Dratini, or how much DPS they are lossing when they choose a bad move set.

If someone better at this than me do a calculator to convert these factors to DPS and duel ability would help.

@neoiw

Sorry, but that's not true. This site gives more than enough information for anyone to make an informed decision themselves about this. They can punch in their unit info into any one of the myriad of IV calculators online, and they'll see that a ~10% IV difference means a few less stats. They can look at their pokemon's base stats, and see that choosing a slightly lower IV pokemon to evolve is ultimately about a 1%-2% difference in their total final power.

And as for DPS from the different moves, that is all VERY clearly stated on every pokemon's page on this site. They don't need to ask which move is 'better'. The damage, move duration, STAB damage, defensive DPS, and move resistances and weaknesses are all right in front of them.

When people ask pointless questions like that here, they're basically just asking someone else to take the time to reiterate what is already right on in front of their face if they just take a moment to think about it themselves. It's annoying and childish to ask others to think for you.
