Which charizard to power up?
I am stuck between which charizard to power up.
I have a 1489cp 82%iv with wing attack/fire blast
Or
1524cp 100%iv with ember/flamethrower
Stuck cus i really cant go past the 100%... cus you know its 100%... but then the 82 has the best attack set....

Charizard's optimal defensive moveset changed, it's not ember anymore, now it's "Wing Attack / Flamethrower".
Answering maat1985's question, don't invest on then, I know how Charizard is a cool Pokémon, but not the best one of his type, so if you're planning to power up a Charizard anyways, I would strongly recommend to just wait for a 90% IV+ with the right movesets (offensive or defensive) to come by.
Just making clear that Charizard is not the best of his type, but I'm assuming here that you really like this Pokémon and want to max him out.
Don't power up any of them. It's not that Charizard(s) are not useful in the current meta; quite the opposite, they are useful at 1400-1500cp for training friendly gyms stacked with Grass-type Pokemon.
Charizard has a double resistance to Grass. With the quick Wing Attack, he can dodge Razor leaf/Solar Beam easily and take little damage. With good battling skills, he can take down Venusaur/Victreebell/Exeggutor at 2300+ cp. Only Parasect/Scyther with right move set have similar effect.
So save your stardust for Arcanine, who crashes any Grass-type and Bug-type.
I just love charizard... really dissapointed he is not as good as he should be but charizard has always been one of my favorite pokemon he really should be the best fore type particularly given how hard he is to get. I mean i have 4 snorlax, 4 lapras, 4 gayarados 8 eggxecutors so on so on... have caught 5500 pokemon, hatched over 900 and only just got.my 2nd charizard... firefang/flamethrower arcanines one almost maxed out already. I have evolved 5 in total and only ever got same moveset so bite/fireblast is difficult to get.
