Where to catch Pokemon in La area?

Anybody know of good spots besides the pike in long beach and Santa Monica pier? I can't afford to drive there every time I want to catch a lot of stuff so I'm in need of a different place hopefully closer to catch Pokemon.

I use the Silph Road Global Nest Atlas for strategic hunting. On the daily, I just drive through strip mall parking lots.
