When the move-sets get updated again... Which mons do you expect to get buffed?

Amphros? Steelix? Granbull?

Which are you thinking?

Donphan, cause he should really have a ground type quick move.

Fairy quick moves

I expect Splash to become a charge move that does 180 damage.

Forretress with a bug type charged attack. It makes no sense to me that it has both quick attacks as bug type, but no bug type charged move.

Edit: Looking at the move charts for forretress and pineco in generation VII, the only bug move I see available from level up and TMs is bug bite. I'm not sure why they gave it the quick move struggle bug. Was that from a previous generation? However, it can get pin missile from breeding.

Struggle Bug (TM76 in Gen V and VI) is replaced by Fly and is no longer available as one of the TMs in Gen VII.

Lapras should get bubble and a decent defensive water charge move too. Take away his cp, ice shard and giving water gun and hydro pump was too much to nerf.

Its such a small tail haha. They should just add Surf to the game and make it two bars with 90 value.

Yes if tackle was replaced with Mud Slap that would be great because I love donphan and also if maybe he could learn body slam instead of heavy slam. Also dragonites moves should be DB and DT as quick moves so no matter what moveset you get he is amazing. One more thing I have a problem with gyarados's moves I think he should be able to learn DT and bite for his quick moves but he should be able to learn outrage, hydro pump, and either twister, aqua tail or hurricane as his last charge move.(ps. I think rhydon should be able to learn submission he looks like that move would work for him)

psychic should change to a 2 bar move instead of being the shity booby prize to future sight, which would be an instant buff to anything that has it

Are you out of your mind?! You really want Blissey to be buffed?! Thank God you don't work for Niantic.

If they took the numbers for Psychic exactly as they are now and just cut the energy cost to 50, then Z/P would be just a little bit better than Z/D. If they do any sort of balancing to the damage and/or time, then Z/D will still be the best defensive moveset for Blissey.

Agreed. DG hits slower (easier to dodge) while it has better type coverage.

I hope Scratch gets added as a new quick move. It would be a nice buff for Persian and Ursaring.

I would like to see a couple more moves on par with Volt Switch and Confusion to buff up some brand new unlikely defenders.

Primarily they need to be more flexible with the moves that they allow pokemon to have. Restricting moves to just Gen6 moves cuts off a lot of older TMs that can fill out some pokemon.

There are a lot of changes I'd like to see, but one of the big ones on my list, we need a defensive water quick move that more pokemon can learn. (Compare Niantic's choice of quick moves for Raikou, Entei, and Suicune.) Most of the water moves are already in use, but one candidate remains that stands out really nicely if we ignore the arbitrary Gen6 restriction that Niantic has been using:

http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Whirlpool_(move)
A lot of pokemon can learn Whirlpool in Gen2 (HM6) and Gen4 (HM5 in Heart Gold and Soul Silver).

Make Whirlpool a quick move with numbers similar to Bullet Seed. On offense it will be Water Gun>Bubble>Whirlpool, and on defense it will be Bubble>Whirlpool>>>Water Gun.

Oh. And Octillary NEEDS Octazooka. 10 charges, 500 power please.

The pros and cons are the examples, all of them are offensive moves unless stated:

Ice moves such as Frost Breath are good again. Pros: Lapras. Cons: Dragonite.

Water Gun can generate 7 energy again. Pros: Vaporeon. Cons: Rhydon.

Vaporeon learns Bubble as a defensive move. Pros: Vaporeon. Cons: Exeggutor.

Nerf Dazzling Gleam. Pros: Machamp. Cons: Blissey.

Make Psychic deals 125 damage. Pros: Alakazam. Cons: Alakazam.

Volt Switch has 25 power. Pros: Ampharos. Cons: Sandslash.

Add a fairy quick move. Pros: Granbull. Cons: Tyranitar.

Bullet Punch has 10 power. Pros: Scizor. Cons: Wigglytuff.

Counter has 11 power, generates 9 energy. Pros: Machamp. Cons: Machamp.

Donphan can learn Mud Slap. Pros: Donphan. Cons: Ampharos.

...

Buff Water Pulse and Scald as a defensive move. Pros: Vaporeon. Cons: Dragonite.

Steel Wing generates 7 energy. Pros: Dragonite. Cons: Clefable.

Iron Tail generates 9 energy, and has 14 power, as a defensive move. Pros: Tyranitar. Cons: Clefable.

Would you explain
- Pros: Alakazam and Cons: Alakazam
- Pros: Machamp and Cons: Machamp
further? I do not understand that.

http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Bubble_(move)
Vaporeon can't learn Bubble. A lot of water pokemon can't learn Bubble. That is why I want to see Whirlpool as a defensive oriented quick move and allow pokemon to learn moves from earlier generations.
http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Whirlpool_(move)

Psychic should be a two-bar move again and 80 damage. That makes it better than Futuresight on defense, but less than Futuresight on offense.

There are not a lot of fairy moves in the main series games. Even less that a lot of pokemon can learn. The best/only candidate is Dazzling Gleam (TM99 in Gen6,7) but that is unfortunately already used as a charge move. For Niantic to make a good widely-usable fairy quick move, they would either need to retire Dazzling Gleam as a charge move or allow pokemon to learn moves that they can't in the main series. Or maybe even just invent an entirely new move.

I expect Machamp with C/DP to be nerfed :D 15s T-Rex killer.

I had insane luck with my Champs so there is no way that is going to be tolerated for any longer.
3 out of 6 got C/DP though of course, the slightly worse IVs got that moveset ;) (78, 87&69) while 84, 87 & 93 got one steel move

Besides my last 5 Machokes from 2km eggs all had IVs below 80 so maybe that balances my RNG luck out a bit. I still have 250 candies left which I'll keep in case of gym/move changes and I kept the steel champs too (they are doing ok as Prestigers).

Looking forward to a water quick move for Gyarados too. I got one with Bite/Twister and two with DT/Crunch.

Maybe those sad Steelwing Nites get a purpose with the gym update. At least Dragonclaw seems to be still annoying as a defender.
I'm still sitting on my 200 Dratini candies because I am afraid of getting Steelwing again (only evolved one dragon yet). Well, maybe I am hoping for a better candidate than Lvl20 84% or lvl5 91% too :D
