When is Mewtwo coming?

I was hoping it was gonna be VERY soon after they first released it in Yokohama but it doesn't look like it.
It's been quite a while already and now they announced legendary dogs and admitted that there are exclusive raids issues that are yet to be solved.
Is Mew2 coming in like a month or is it gonna be longer? What do you guys think?

If Niantic decides to work with an invite system for mewtwo, they better make it work correctly at start. For that reason they probably decide to take their time with releasing mewtwo.

The earliest you can expect mewtwo to come is the 6th of September, more likely available to a wider audience in October.

They've confirmed that the first invites will be "soon" and will be for raids that will occur on the 6th. That being said, it's only for select gyms, so we still need to wait to find out exactly how "select" these invites are. We also need to wait to find out how long after these initial invites will additional invites be sent out, but I would guess it wouldn't be too long after.

Niantic should've released Ho-Oh instead of Mewtwo at the Stadium Event in Yokohama. It makes sense considering the other birds were released, no?

I don't know, man... they say the 6th in vague terms but who knows. They could roll out the full Invite System once the Beasts are finished at the end of October...

I have a hard time believing that mewtwo's global release will be delayed THAT long. I think you'll see the select invites for raids to occur on the 6th. They'll see how that plays out and they'll get their feedback, and they'll start to roll them out more and more frequently, similar to how raiding was rolled out initially where it was literally opened up to new levels every hour or so. I'd anticipate full release by mid-September at the latest.

Though I guess you never know...

... it's one of the reasons why they should've went with Ho-Oh first just incase they encountered problems with the invite system and its complete rollout needs to be delayed. I personally could live without saltyness knowing that a select few have Ho-Oh... Mewtwo, though...
