When does the Grass event end?

There's a giant countdown on the GamePress homepage.... it ends around 4PM EST or 1PM PST tomorrow.

I don't think anyone except Niantic knows. I think 1 PM is just a guess so countdowns can be made. It could end anytime on May 8th PDT. Maybe they're doing this since they don't seem to be able to end events at the time they'll say anyway. If this is the reason, I'd still prefer knowing a time it won't end before.

It can't end soon enough for me

Just speculating but maybe they will extend the six hour lures because of the bug when the event launched.
