What is wrong with this event?

I incubated a 7km egg that I got today and it didn't show 3.5km, apparently the incubater doesn't do 2 times the speed although Niantic said they would!

And also...I am not getting double catch CP!

Those bonuses are only good during regular CD hours (10-1 Sat GMT for Europe, 11-2 PST Satfor the US, and I forget about APAC).

What do you mean? It was listed in the news bonuses page.

Read the in-game announcement, the bonuses are only for 3 hours depending on where you live.

Yeah the special bonus time is 3 specific hours, depending on where you're from, and the special bonuses for those 3 hours are the incubator speed, and double catch stardust and XP
