What pokemon in Gen2 may induce meta-changes?
I was looking at the Gen2 pokemon list and I was frankly unimpressed.
Tyranitar - basically a new Dragonite. Stronger since he doesn't have a double weakness. Weaker since he's weak to water.
Feraligatr / Typhlosion / Meganium - repeats of Gen1 starters.
Kingdra - Could be very strong with the right moveset. Has very favorable typing, especially with double resistance to both fire and water.
Porygon2/Ursaring - two more mini-Snorlax. Unless they get a moveset like Tackle/Hyper Beam, I don't see them ever replacing Snorlax though. Will be better "mini" versions than Wigglytuff/Clefable though, likely.
Ampharos - will be by far the strongest electric pokemon in the game (excluding legendaries). Should single-handedly make Gyarados useless in gyms unless he's really rare. Really hope he has a good moveset.
Slowking / Octillery / Politoed - more strong-ish waters, nothing new here.
Donphan - a strong ground. Will replace Golem/Rhydon.
Bellossom - no different than Vileplume really
Houndoom - with the right moveset could be a good attacker, but a weakness to Water will keep him out of gyms still.
Crobat - likely the next Hypno given how common he'll be. Somewhat strong but severely underrated, popular at first but then never seen.
New Eevees - won't be impressive and will be common.
Scizor - double weakness to fire will keep him out of gyms. With a good moveset could be a viable attacker though.
Piloswine - with a good moveset could be an alternative to attack Dragonite if you don't have a Lapras. Weakness to Water will keep him out of gyms though.
That's already a good way down the list (sorted by CP). Aside from Kingdra and Ampharos, I'm not seeing anything that will actually cause change. Tyranitar will obviously show up in gyms due to the high CP placing him at the top, but like Dragonite he doesn't seem like he'd actually be a threatening defender (although he'll be strong on attack).
Any thoughts? Anything I've missed or you disagree with?

I know about the CP difference. What make me think that Scyther is not a good Exeggutor counter is its moves. Bug Buzz is ok, but Fury Cutter is really bad. I was hoping that Heracross could learn Bug Bite/Megahorn, so he would be a really hard counter of Exeggutor, but then I realised that Heracross is also a fighting pokemon, and Exeggutor attacks would be super effective as well, so all my hopes are in Scizor.
If Kingdra have the same or almost the same moveset of his pre evolution, he'll be a monster, his stats are awesome and his typing is almost perfect, with good stab moveset(considering the moveset of seadra) and horsea being easy to find, you'll get a meta changing dude, maybe the next vaporeon.
Scizor has one big weakness to fire, but no other one. He will be great for attackin almost anything since no one will hot him hard, the real drawback is his only "alright" stats, which is pretty sad, cause he is the coolest mon ever.
I see a huge balance update to moves directly before or during gen2 release so who knows what would happen. I'm guessing fighting and electric buffs. Common charge move nerfs(solar beam, hydro pump)
I know your post meant Pokemon changing things, but they will almost have to adjust quite a bit when introducing so many new ones.
