What point should Niantic show mercy?

try using nanab berry (banana) for the first ball, it help for me when i was 10/0 catching suicune.

They fix the throw distance from the last update. It should be easier than before.

Are you getting the ball in the circle? If not, try the "L" throw:

With the "L" throw, you are basically giving up the curveball catch rate bonus in exchange for a very high rate of getting the ball in the circle, often with a "nice" or "great" bonus. Then, it just becomes a numbers game. I only use it for pokemon that are very far away and difficult to hit, such as Gengar, Lapras, and of course Kyogre (however, I have not tried Kyogre since the update, which has apparently made it easier to hit).

I caught one in my first raid. Are you using Golden Raspberries? If not, stop whining, and figure it out. No one has time for your whiny self.

Don't sweat it. I've been going pretty blue on this guy too, and I can actually throw at it pretty well.
