What does this number mean?
Hi. Quick question regarding gyms. What does the number "8" in the picture mean ? Number of trainers who tried against that Pokemon or number of Pokemon beaten?

Not matching because thats the gyms overall stats...
And youvare compering it to a sumary of a current defender while at that gym.
In other words you are comparing the entire amount of gym battles you have had at the gym with all pokemon, with the battles a single pokemon has had while its been just defending this gym.
Most likely the 8 simply means your blissey has been involved in 8 battles. I assume its just involved anyway, and not won.
I also think these stats are single defender session based and don't carry over the next time you put the same defender in another gym, and they all reset at zero when you put up a new defender
Pretty sure it's number of battles won by that mon, where the player timed out or quit or lost. when my blissey goes from 2900 to 2100, there's no increase in that stat. However, when someone attempts and the cp remains the same, that stat increases by one. so that leads me to believe it's battles won. i do not know yet if it's only for that specific gym or overall battles won by blissey from any gym
