What does Double Effective Incubators mean?

I'd rather half distance, honestly, easier to clear out those 2 and 5ks to make it easier to get more 10ks

double candy and dust might be good, but double candy for a spheal or aron isnt much use, i'd rather better chance of getting a dratini or bagon, or heck even another beldum just for the trade candy
