What do you use against Dragonites?
At full CP, just curiosity

Typically just my highest powered up Lapras with Ice Shard/Blizzard (previously Blizzard). If that is in a gym currently, then I will use my middling IV Frost Breath/Ice Beam Lapras that I caught at a high level.
With the old gym system when I might need to fight against several Dragonites in the same gym and before we had the search function, I would often use my Gyarados with B/Dragon Pulse, and later added a pair with B/Outrage, to attack Dragonites and only scroll all the way down for my Lapras if there were even more Dragonites.
Does "potion efficiency" matter when we are flooded with so many potions from raids?
I never really needed to ration potions, but now especially it seems like a relic of the old gym system where we would need to fight through a full gym for half an hour to take it down and prestige to build up spaces.
Not really but it is a pro more than a con. Depends who you ask as well, personally im not flooded with raids. Im lucky if i have the opportunity to do one t2 raid a day and even luckier if i have a chance to try duoing a t3 once a week. So im not personally drowning in raid rewards though still with gold gym badges i am rarely short of healing items or balls, though if i do attempt a t3 raid that normally does clear out quite a bit of bagspace. Potion efficiency or time efficiency or wank efficiency doesn't mean anything unless you want it to. I don't spend much time thinking about it. Just came out when i was typing
I miss it too. Truth be told I sweep most gyms with my highest tyranitars and dragonites despite typing disadvantages. Occasionally my new powered up legends make the cut, but it's barely worth the time to change out what the game pre-loads for me. I'm hopeful that one day that our mons will be more than just trophies/collector items.
If it actually was at max CP, I'd probably break out my Cloyster.
They rarely are though, so my Clefable can usually take him out and then fight other people in the Gym too. It is much easier to stumble into a counter with a Ice/Water type than a pure Fairy type. Seriously no one ever puts up poison or steel.
