What do you think of this Nidorina?

I'm seriously thinking of evolving this to a Nidoqueen.
It was caught wild as CP 356, HP 61, IV 95.6-97.8%

Pros:
*I don't have a Nidoqueen and have never seen one in the wild and odds are wouldn't have as good IV if I ever did catch a wild one.
*I caught his Nidorina wild so saves 25 candy.
*I only catch about one Nidorina a month so unlikely I would find a better one anytime soon.

Cons:
*Would use up 2 months worth of Nidoran(F) candy.
*It's fairly low level (10 i think) so would cost 36,500 dust to bring it up to level 20, equivalent to if it had been evolved from a hatched egg. (Plus the additional candy of which I would only have 57 left over after evolving it)

What do you think?

I wouldn't do it, Nidoqueens aren't very valuable. If you evolve it, and it gets the best poison attacks, don't power it up and use it against wigglytuff in friendly gyms..

Kinda feel like you adding this to your podex, in which case do it! Decide your plans for it later!

Actually it's on most sites top defenders lists as a secondary to mid tier defender, so that was what I was thinking. Barring insane luck it doesn't seem I'll be getting a top defender other than a Vaporean anytime soon. But I'm super patient in this game so I have no problem waiting. Thanks for the feedback.

It's bad against Vaporeon which makes it a terrible gym defender.

Yeah with the current meta anything that is weak to water can't really be a good defender so this takes out nidoking and nidoqueen.

I'm only level 30....... nidos are not gym defenders....

Depends on how much you like nidoqueens and the moveset it gets when you evolve. Looks like you have plenty of dust. Don't expect a super high end mon though.

I wish I could give you Nido candy. They are more common than pidgeys here. It's ridiculous some days. The males sure do look cool, female bra is a little off putting.

That's not a bra, her breasts are just a different color and she doesn't have nipples. No more settling I know!

What a weird design.

I will think of you and this comment everytime I see nidos now.

Just click on her, she's letting it all hang out and she's proud of it!

just evolve it, for your pokedex,
since Electric type is not common in gyms, even gen 2's Ampharos is out, i think people will keep it as an attacker rather than gym defender

I wouldn't evolve it, full stop.

If you want a strong Nidoqueen, you'll do better evolving a higher level Nidoran (stardust and Candy-wise). Judging by the ridiculous amount of stardust you have, you must be level 30 or so. You will eventually find a level 25+ Nidoran which you can evolve much better.

The IV doesn't matter at all. Nidoqueen is not a top tier attacker or defender. I have one with 93% IV that I was powering up, but I regret it now. She doesn't last in gyms at all. She has very limited uses in attacking. Now that I've filled out the team a little bit more (basically, added two Lapras) she's basically useless to me - throw her out against the occasional Snorlax but that's about it.

So then the question is, do you want a strong Nidoqueen or just the Pokedex entry? Either way, you have over 125 candy so there's no reason to evolve this to "save" 25 candy. So I'll assume you want a strong one, encourage you to save the dust and just evolve a higher level one.
