What to do with rare candy?
So I have 702 rare candy right now. While this is an improvement on the 788 I had an hour ago, my bag is still full. Everyone keeps telling me to use on legendaries and ttar, but I already have enough candy to power up:
2 Lugias
1 Articuno
1 Moltres
1 Zapdos
1.5+ Raikou
3 Tyranitar
Edit: Ok, I clearly phrased the question wrong, because everyone thinks I'm just showing off my rare candy. First of all, I'm level 35, not some crazy, super-hardcore level 40. Second, when I said "I already have enough candy to power up", I meant from level 20 (the level they are when you catch them from a raid) to level 30. My bad on the misunderstanding and I hope this helps clear things up.

If you have that much rare candy then you probably know the game well enough to know what to do with it.
If I saved all my rare candy I'd be well up over 1000. I just started dumping it into mons that are useful. A few hundred dratini candy, a few hundred went into a high IV Zapdos. I dumped a few hunded into Raiku. Dumped a few hundred into TTar.
Once my rare candy begins to go over 300 I start dumping it.
Just start depositing the rare candy into versatile mons. No reason at all to hoard it. Just a waste of item space.
Simple solution: stop raiding like there was no tomorrow lol. Are you serious you have 700+ rare candy and all that mon that you can already power up, what is the reason you are doing that many raids then? If dust is your limitation then you should go for incubators or spend the time catching instead of raiding.
I can't take this question seriously sorry, if you only did your free raid pass of the day you wouldn't have that problem. I think you are just trying to "show off" how many candies you have and also in a moment where a lot of people is mad because of the raid rewards nerf.
So as you are saying you don't need more legendary candies and top tier candies then just delete 200 of them and keep raiding like you do until you get to that point again.
I don't need any more legends. I have been transferring the worst of them. I raid for the rare candy, the slim chance of a Charge TM, and especially the XP. The actual mons are the worst reason to raid once you've got a decent IV anything. Aside from the mons, it's the quickest 10,000 XP you can get in the game.
I think we all raid for the "exclusive" raid rewards, TM's, rare candies and xp. But when someone asks what to do with 700+rare candies having already enough to power up all the legendaries and rare mons I think the question is out of place.
I am sure he/she already has 90%+ IV of all legendaries with that many candies, then of course he/she will have enough TM's with that amount of raids. So if the candies are stocking up to a point you really think don't need them why keep raiding? Go to xp and dust grinding sessions, use lucky egg to mass evolve, buy incubators to hatch eggs...Do anything else or even stop playing for a while if you really think you have everything you can achieve on the game right now.
No need to come here to ask that stupid question...It is like I asked I have 20 million stardust, what do I power up? I can't take it seriously, if you have that amount of resources you know more than enough what you can/should do with them.
Okay, if this is a serious question, here is a serious answer:
You are obviously doing a lot of raids so you will get more rare candy. Choose a number as a threshold of rare candy for yourself. Ideally you want to dump rare candy into legends because they have a 20km walking distance. If you go above your threshold though, then dump the excess rare candy into rare 5km pokemon like Tyranitar, Dragonite, Ampharos, Lapras, and starters.
I'm only around 200 rare candy right now. I just dumped about 60 candy into Raikou. I think my rare candy threshold would be around 300 candy, which is enough to power up more pokemon than I have stardust for.
Do you have 4 maxed machamps (dou Tyra)?
Do you have 4 or 5 maxed Golems (duo Moltres, trio Zapdos, solo Flareon)?
Do you have a maxed legacy gengar? And a maxed hex one?
If no to one of this, I will dump candies to make a reserve for that instead of just throwing them.
And some in Tangela, I don't think I will have enoght candirs to max his evolution even when gen 4 will came :).
Honestly, I hope it's people like you who don't ruin it for the rest of us (with MORE nerfs) happy to get more rare candies...or anything in rewards.
Just stop raiding or spending paid passes...(or bragging). Just power up whatever you want or play a diff game since you're pretty much done for now. I assume stardust will be your limiting factor so instead of raiding, max 9 incubators instead...
If you have been raiding enough to get those candies then you should have been catching worthy mons in the process. Therefore something is out of balance in your playing habit. Could be one of the following
1) You are too picky on what mons you are powering up and you have good mons being ignored
2) You aren't grinding enough star dust for powering
3) You are not powering your mons up far enough (this might be the issue since you said you only power to 30)
4) You are raiding just for candy instead of raiding for mons that you need
5) You aren't good at throwing and too many of your raid victory mons are getting away
