What do I evolve my Eevee into?

My Eevee is lvl 20 with 88% IVs at 12/15/13. What should I evolve it into?

If Eevee is relatively common in your area, I would wait for a better one at a higher level. Also, there are only two ways to choose which evolution you get, with restrictions:
1) Walk it 10 km and evolve it in the day for Espeon, the night for Umbreon. This is guaranteed. Espeon is useful if you want a cheap counter to Machamp, though I would again wait for slightly better IVs, and definitely a higher level, so that it will be useful without the need for investment. Umbreon is a decent defender, though its real role in the meta right now is in PvP, I would say. If you find an Eevee with low attack and high def/stam, I would evolve it as an Umbreon in Great League (unless it's already too high level).
2) The name trick. Do NOT use this prematurely. There is a way to get each eeveelution, guaranteed, one time, by giving you Eevee a special name. I would only use this on a perfect Eevee, to guarantee that I get the evolution that I want, or on a shiny, again to make sure that I get the correct evolution.

Eevee can go a lot of directions. What do you need? It's IVs are not strong enough to figure you'll take it to level 40 and use it forever, it's probably a stopgap until you get something better. So figure out what typing (Fire, Electric, Water, Dark, Psychic, or if you don't mind waiting a bit, Ice or Grass) you're not strong on and flesh it out a bit.

How far are you into "A Ripple in Time" special research?

I'd say at this point eevee's an inconsequential pokemon to have, previously it help the best attacker of type in most of the types its lines were; jolteon flareon, espeon, and vaporeon and umbreon were good on defense. They used to be good alternatives if you didnt want to drop rarecandy on legendaries, but now theres alternatives that are not only superior to the eevee line but also do not demand rarecandy

However, with gen 4 coming out, CD moves and the stat rebalance, the eevee line is now second fiddle, aside from Espeon which is second to alakazam in nonlegendary psychic depending on perspective

I have a 100% eevee, that im honestly not going to do anything with as all sets are outclassed by other nonlegendaries unlike previousy.

Please don’t listen to this moron... ALL the eevee evolutions are perfectly serviceable Pokémon for beginning, returning and casual players...made more so by the changes in how damage is dealt.... Are you going to set a new solo speed record using any of them? Absolutely not. Are there better Pokémon out there? Absolutely... But they are pretty common, easy to catch so candy isn’t an issue and make Excellent fillers in any raid team.... Personally I don’t evolve ANYTHING till I absolutely need it for a quest or a raid but if you are evolving it for a quest just do the one you like best they are all pretty much of equal use and that use is as a TEMPORARY place holder till you find something better
