What could I use Golem for?

I have:
1. A level-20 wonder Golem with RT/EQ
2. Five wonder Geodudes (one level 27, the rest 20)
3. About 250,000 stardust
4. 256 Geodude candy

What could I use Golem for? As a diversity defender? For prestiging certain defenders? I know RT/EQ is inferior to RT/SE and am tempted to spend 125 candy on my level 27 wonder Geodude.

If it matters, I currently have nothing else to spend my stardust on (unless I get the best moveset on my next Alakazam, Dragonite or Poliwrath). I already have two Rhydons with MS/SE along with the usual first-generation attackers and defenders.

I have both RT/SE and RT/EQ, the RT/EQ is awesome on Dragonite for myself. My RT/SE is still not a high enough level to throw in the battle but i would say if you don't have a Dragonite attacker he is a pretty good choice. 250k Stardust though? idk how you all keep so much dust. That is insane. lol

EQ only does NVE into Dragonite...so worst choice compared to near anything else to attack into it...You're better off with RT/SE or RT/RB since that's SE into Dragonite...

That said, Golem is good for Gyarados too, especially if it doesn't have Hydropump...It's much more tanky than Jolteon and Outrage and Crunch dodge bug kills my Jolteons all the time.

I've powered up mine (RT/SE) to Level 30...

I'd not power up a RT/EQ and just keep it...

Also, 250k dust isn't much IMO (that's only 2 max out mons if you are higher levels...so you should save your dust and candies.

Like me, dust is plentiful since there is no need to power up a lot of things...I've actually been powering up attackers now (Scizor, Golem)...over 800k dust for now.

In my opinion, it is RT/SE or forget it. I have two of these maxed for killing non-steelwing dragonites. Anything else you use golem for can be done better by someone else.

Given your stock of Geodudes, I would spin one more time in the hopes of getting RT/RB or RT/SE.

Both of these are very nice attackers against Dragonite or Gyrados (except Hydro Pump).

As a defender, I wouldn't bother right now. It might be nice to power one way up to have enough CP to be a diversity defender, but given that the gym rework is only a week or so away, I would hold off on that.

I spent 125 candy on my level 27 wonder Geodude and rolled...MS/SE (an A grade on defence, making him a slightly worse Rhydon). 28k stardust to level 30.
