what are some safe charge TM uses?
with fast TM, you know what move you will get (except if you have a legacy move). But with charge TMs, you only have a 50% chance of getting what you want, and you may end up using multiple TMs to get what you want.
So are their cases when a charge move is so bad and the 2 others are good, so it's safe to use the charge TM and you will be satisfied either way and won't be tempted to try another TM?
- maybe Tyranitar with fire blast?
- Blissey with psychic
- Snorlax earthquake has to be one (maybe earthquake in general)
I've got only one charge TM so far, I want to use it wisely

Machamp, Tyranitar for sure.
Dragonite to a lesser extent but you could argue it's the same as FB on Tyranitar even though the Fire Typing isn't an advantage and HB is mostly neutral. Gyarados if you don't like Crunch. Exeggutor with Psychic.
I want to say that atm all Snorlax movesets are crap, so I would wait with this guy.
Rhydon - Megahorn
Tyrannitar - Fire blast
Dragonite - Hyperbeam
Scizor - Night Slash
Machamp - Heavy Slam
Golem - Earthquake (if you want rt with rock charge move)
Probably a lot more.
Earthquake not in general, mud shot/slap with earthquake is really good vs a lot of current bosses (Tyrannitar, Weezing, Muk, Flareon, Jolteon, Magmar, Electabuzz, Arcanine and Gengar.
Actually AT and HP are very good, so you can reroll WP safely. Tyranitar with Fire Blast, Dragonite with Hyper Beam, Machamp with Heavy slam, Seed Bomb Exeggutor (Psychic is very good against machamp), Even flareon (Fire Blast) and Charizard (Dragon Claw) are relatively safe, as you are guaranteed a better move, even if you don't get the best.
I only use charge TMs on mons where I have a 100% chance of getting a better move.
I would use it on a Heavy Slam Machamp for example, because Close Combat and D-Punch are both better moves, so I have a 100% chance of improvement. However, I would NOT use it on Close Combat Machamp because I have a 50% chance of a worse move and a 50% chance of a better move.
