What are Network Errors 2, 26 and 29?

I get frozen out of taking over gyms by "network errors" mostly 2 and 29 and today 26. Does anybody know what each of these error codes mean? All I can say is that I hope it happens to the trainers attacking the gym I am in because those error codes are probably my best defense.

I don't know, so I can't really answer. But I agree with you. Error 2 usually kicks me out of the gym when I'm attacking. It's very annoying and the best gym defence.
I think that Niantic added all these codes to be able to identify better the problems when we send them a report. It was all red banner before

I usually get them while attacking a gym that I've raided recently, maybe within ~24 hours or so. Otherwise almost never.

• Error 29 is confirmed to be caused by the game still thinking your battling a gym usually happens if you back out of a gym battle early and don’t battle every mon in the gym that’s atleast my experience with that one. Wait 10 minutes and you should be good.

• Error 26 isn’t fully confirmed but it supposedly is only caused by server lag, getting kicked out of a gym or when clicking on a nearby mon.
