What are fire-type attackers useful for?

I already have a Charizard with Ember/FB and an Arcanine with FF/FT among my top twelve attackers. They excel at destroying Exeggutor, which is the fifth-most common Gen 1 defender in my local meta (the only common Gen 2 defender is Blissey, with Tyranitar slightly less common than Exeggutor).

My second-tier attackers include three wonder Flareons with Ember/FB and a non-wonder Flareon with FS/OH (apparently a very powerful moveset). If I get a wonder Flareon with FS/OH, would it be worth powering up and what would it (and my Arcanine/Charizard) be useful for? I currently have 150k stardust (powering up a Count/DP Machamp) and 400 Eevee candy, but do not need a third Exeggutor killer.

Fire works good against Blissey. I would totally power up a FS/OH wonder Flareon to at least level 30, my 52% one at level 30 and is awesome..I wanted to power it more but the cp difference at max level is just too much. I also use my 78% level 33 Arcanine with FF/FB a lot too. All that said you are somewhat low on stardust, There might be better things for you spend it on, I dont know your gym meta etc.

Arcanine could take out a sub 2900 CP Blissey w/ FF/FB. A maxed out one could take out a 3K one provided you dodge. It's not the optimal attacker into Blissey and Snorlax, but it can take them out forsure. A FS/OH Flareon is insane, but it has a hard time taking out a Blissey by itself due it its low HP. I seldomly ever use Charizard so I can't provide any feedback w/ that one.

Btw all 3 are super useful if you ever see a Steel type like Scizor or Steelix.

i have maxed charizard its quite good attacker for grass and normal types but its my only powered up fire attacker. its better to focus on water electric and grass types for now until they change something. but personally i habe many maxed pokemons becouse i just like them:)
